Vampires, werewolves, wizards, & witches. Twilight and Harry Potter movies are booming in the box office, spoilers and reviews are pouring in on the Internet. But which mystical flagship has taken center stage in the blog-world? We looked to see which fantasy tickled your fancy.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards played a big part inspiring bloggers to bleed their feelings onto their digital diaries as the Twilight: New Moon trailer was previewed at the event. However, it seems that Robert Pattison & Kristen Stewart’s on-air make out session couldn’t compete with the premiere of Harry Potter – The Half-Blooded Prince. Posts skyrocketed the week of HP-VI.

Twilight fans, do not despair, you’ve still got the majority of the blog landscape. Of all the posts compiled, 56% were about Twilight. Pat(tison) yourselves on the back.

Here’s something interesting; Less than 4% of all the posts registered as ‘neutral’. This means that almost ALL the posts written had some connotation of emotion, to extremes. People either HATE or LOVE them. Harry beat Twilight by a twinkle, hording 1% more of the positives.
