The Superbowl rematch is upon us tonight with the pre-season game between the Steelers vs. Cardinals. We know how they matched up at Super Bowl XLIII, and tonight we’ll see how the revamped teams fare. But at Mojave, we turned our attention to another interesting team battle – not on the field, but how they match up in social media. We pulled the data, scrubbed the numbers and counted the tweets to see who could mark a “W” in the social media column – the Steelers or the Cardinals. Click any chart for a larger image.

So who wins? Well, at least in social media, it’s very close. But the Steeler Nation’s social media activity seems to push their team to the win. We’ll give this one to the Steelers, but they might want to keep an eye on the rapid “Card” fans online.
